Cookie policy

Bucharest Card Show uses a minimal set of cookies: the ones strictly necessary for the operation and security of the website, plus third-party cookies we use only if you accept them in the dialog shown on your first visit. We do not use Google Analytics or Google Tag Manager. The third-party cookies are of two kinds, and you can accept them separately: the Google map of the venue (Google Ireland Limited; when we show it, Google sets its own cookies, among them NID, and receives the page address, the IP address and browser data) and the measuring of our TikTok and Meta ads through the TikTok pixel (TikTok Technology Limited, Ireland; it sets the _ttp cookie) and the Meta pixel (Meta Platforms Ireland Limited; it sets the _fbp and _fbc cookies), which send the same data. Nothing is loaded from Google, TikTok or Meta until you press "Accept all" or tick that category under "Set preferences"; if you press "Necessary only", the choice stays in your browser and we do not ask again. All of these providers may transfer the data outside the European Economic Area under standard contractual clauses. You can change your choice at any time in the section at the end of this page. Otherwise, we do not build user profiles and we do not pass browsing data to third parties for commercial purposes. We count visits with our own counter, without cookies and without any identifier: for each page opened we keep only the page address, the site you came from, the language, the kind of screen and the minute, while the IP address and the browser are turned on the spot into a key that changes daily and cannot be turned back into data about you. The rows are deleted after 90 days. The cookies we use: XSRF-TOKEN protects forms against forged submissions from another site, for the duration of the session. BCS_SESSION keeps administrative staff and entrance validators signed in for the duration of the session, and is not set for ordinary visitors. Cloudflare sets security cookies against automated traffic, and Cloudflare Turnstile verifies that forms are completed by a person. We do not ask for consent for the strictly necessary cookies because, under art. 4 alin. (5) of Romanian Law no. 506/2004, they do not require it; the dialog on your first visit asks only about the third-party cookies above. Until an answer, and after "Necessary only", we load no third-party content that would set cookies: the venue is an illustration hosted by us, and Google Maps opens in a new tab only if you press the button. The only other element loaded from another server is the NETOPIA logo in the footer, displayed at the payment processor's request; it is an image and sets no cookies. You can delete or block cookies in your browser settings. Blocking the strictly necessary ones stops forms and sign-in from working. For questions, email contact@bucharestcardshow.ro.
